How do I convert YAML to JSON?
Paste your YAML or open a .yaml or .yml file and tap Convert to JSON. Copy the result or download it.
Does it support anchors and several documents?
Yes. Anchors and aliases (& and *) are expanded, and a file with several documents separated by --- becomes one JSON array.
What is the difference between YAML 1.1 and 1.2?
In YAML 1.1, words like yes, no, on and off mean true or false. YAML 1.2, the default here, keeps them as text. Choose 1.1 for older tools that expect it.
How are mistakes shown?
Your YAML is checked as you type. Problems such as wrong indentation or a key used twice show their line and column, and Show me jumps there.
Are big numbers kept?
Yes. Long numbers such as IDs are written exactly, not rounded.
Is my YAML uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, so your files never leave your device.
