  2. Adjust the settings if you like.
  3. Download the result, or send it to another device with BroAllDone.

Frequently asked questions

How do I encode text to Base64?

Type or paste your text and tap Encode. Text is encoded as UTF-8, so emoji and every language decode back exactly.

How do I decode Base64?

Paste the Base64 and tap Decode. Line breaks and spaces are ignored, URL-safe Base64 and data URLs work, and missing = padding is fine.

Can I encode a file?

Yes. Open or drop any file, such as a photo, PDF or font, and it is encoded right away. Tick As a data URL to use it directly in HTML or CSS.

What if the Base64 is a file, not text?

It is recognised, for example a PNG, PDF or ZIP. You see its type and size, and Download saves it as that file.

What is URL-safe Base64?

A version that uses - and _ instead of + and /, so it can go in links and file names without extra encoding. It is common in JWT tokens.

Is my data uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, so your text and files never leave your device.
