How do I remove a password from a PDF?
Choose your PDF, type the password you use to open it, and tap Unlock PDF. You get a copy that opens without a password.
My PDF opens, but I can't print or copy from it. Can this help?
Yes. Leave the password empty and tap Unlock PDF: printing, copying and editing restrictions are removed.
Can it open a PDF if I forgot the password?
No. You need the password that opens the file. This tool doesn't guess or crack passwords.
Is my password safe?
Your password is used once to open the file and is never saved or logged. The PDF is deleted from our server right after it's unlocked.
Does unlocking change the content?
No. The pages, text and images stay exactly the same. Only the protection is removed.
Should I unlock PDFs that aren't mine?
Only unlock files you own or have permission to change. Keep the unlocked copy somewhere safe if it has private information.
