How do I convert HEIC to JPG?

Why can't I open HEIC photos on Windows or Android?
HEIC is the format iPhones use to save space, and many apps and websites don't support it. JPG opens everywhere.
Can I convert many photos at once?
Yes. Choose or drop as many as you like; each one converts on its own, and you can download them all as a ZIP.
Will my photos lose quality?
Very little. At the default quality of 92 the difference is hard to see. Choose PNG if you want no extra compression at all.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. They're converted in your browser, so they never leave your device. The original's location data isn't copied to the JPG either.
How do I stop my iPhone saving photos as HEIC?
On the iPhone, go to Settings → Camera → Formats and choose Most Compatible. New photos will then be saved as JPG.
