How do I compare two PDFs?
Choose the original PDF and the changed one, then tap Compare PDFs. You see every change, with removed text in red and added text in green.
What is the difference between the text and visual comparison?
Text shows the exact words that were added, removed or changed, which suits contracts and reports. Visual compares each page as a picture, so it also catches changes to images, layout and signatures.
Why does it say a PDF has no text?
A scanned PDF is made of pictures of pages, so there is no text to compare. Choose Visual in Compare to see the differences page by page.
Can I save the comparison?
Yes. After a visual comparison, tap Download comparison (PDF) to get the pages with changes marked, ready to share.
Does it work with long documents?
Yes. Text comparison works on documents of hundreds of pages, and the visual comparison checks up to 200 pages at a time.
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. Both files are compared in your browser, so they never leave your device.
