How do I convert JSON to YAML?
Paste your JSON or open a .json file and tap Convert to YAML. Copy the result or download it as a .yaml file.
Is the YAML safe for every tool?
Yes. Values that older YAML readers would misread, such as yes, no, on, off, 0777 or dates, are put in quotes by default, so they stay text everywhere.
Can I make Kubernetes-style YAML?
Yes. Choose 2-space indent, and turn on One YAML document per array item to split a JSON array into several documents separated by ---.
Are big numbers kept?
Yes. Long numbers such as IDs are written exactly as they are in your JSON.
What if my JSON has a mistake?
It is checked as you type. The line and column of the problem are shown, and Show me jumps there.
Is my JSON uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, so your data never leaves your device.
