    Frequently asked questions

    What is a DNG file?

DNG is a RAW photo format. iPhones (ProRAW), Google Pixel, Samsung and many cameras save it. It keeps more detail than a JPG, but many apps and websites can't open it.

How do I convert DNG to JPG?

Choose your DNG photos. Each one is developed and turned into a JPG that you can download, or save all of them at once as a ZIP.

Will the JPG look like the photo on my phone?

Develop the RAW photo gives natural colours from the sensor data. If you prefer the exact look your phone or camera created, choose Camera's own look.

Does it work with iPhone ProRAW and Android RAW photos?

Yes. iPhone ProRAW, Pixel, Samsung and other phones and cameras that save DNG are supported. If a rare DNG type can't be developed, the camera's built-in preview is used and you'll see a note.

Why does it take a few seconds?

RAW photos have tens of millions of pixels to process. It all happens on your device, so a fast computer is quicker than an older phone.

    Are my photos uploaded?

No. The photos are converted in your browser and never leave your device.
