Frequently asked questions
How do I make a round profile picture?
Choose a photo, drag it to place your face in the circle and zoom with the slider, a pinch or your mouse wheel. Then press Download. The corners are transparent in PNG.
Can I add a ring around my profile picture?
Yes. Pick a ring: a story-style gradient, sunset, ocean, gold, green, rainbow, black, white or your own colour. You can change its thickness and add a gap between the ring and the photo.
What size should a profile picture be?
1080 × 1080 pixels looks sharp everywhere. Apps shrink it to small circles, so the previews show how it looks at small sizes on light and dark backgrounds before you save.
Will it fit Instagram, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and TikTok?
Yes. All of them use a square picture shown as a circle, so a square image with your face in the middle fits every one.
Can I use a logo or a photo that doesn't fill the circle?
Yes. Zoom out to fit the whole picture and turn off "Transparent" to fill the space around it with a background colour.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser and your photo never leaves your device.
