Frequently asked questions
How do I add a header and footer to a PDF?
Choose your PDF, type your text in the header or footer boxes (left, centre or right), check the preview and tap Add header and footer.
Can I add page numbers and the date?
Yes. Click into a box, then tap Page number, Total pages, Today's date or File name. They are filled in on each page, so you can write things like Page 3 of 12.
Can I skip the cover page?
Yes. In Pages, type 2- to start from the second page, or list only the pages you want, like 1-5, 9.
Does it work in Hindi, Arabic, Chinese and other languages?
Yes. Text in any language is added sharply. English and other Latin-script text stays real, selectable text in the PDF.
What about sideways pages?
Rotated pages are handled: the header and footer always go at the top and bottom of the page as you see it.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Everything is added in your browser, so your PDF never leaves your device.
