    Frequently asked questions

How do I save the images from a PDF?

Choose your PDF and tap Extract images. Every picture appears in a list: download the ones you want, or tap Download all to get them in one ZIP.

Are the images saved at full quality?

Yes. Photos stored as JPG in the PDF are copied exactly as they are, with no quality lost. Other pictures are saved as lossless PNG, or as JPG if you prefer smaller files.

Why are some small images missing?

Tiny pictures such as icons, bullets and lines are skipped so you don't get hundreds of useless files. Untick Skip tiny images to include them.

Why does a logo appear only once?

A picture repeated on every page, like a company logo, is saved once. Untick Skip repeated images to get a copy from every page.

What do I get from a scanned PDF?

Each page of a scan is usually one big picture, so you get one image per page, exactly as it was scanned. To turn pages into pictures at a size you choose, use PDF to JPG instead.

    Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The images are taken out in your browser, so your PDF never leaves your device.
