Frequently asked questions

How do I convert JSON to CSV?

Paste your JSON or open a .json file and tap Convert to CSV. Check the table preview, then download the CSV or copy it.

What JSON can I use?

An array of objects works best, with one row per object. A single object, a list of lists and JSON Lines (one object per line) work too.

What happens to nested data?

Nested objects become columns like address.city. Arrays are kept as JSON in one cell, or spread into columns like tags.0 and tags.1 if you prefer.

Will it open correctly in Excel?

Yes. The download is Excel-friendly by default, so accents and other languages show correctly. In countries where Excel expects semicolons, choose Semicolon as the delimiter.

Are big numbers kept?

Yes. Numbers are written exactly as they are in your JSON, even long IDs that many converters round. You can also protect cells that start with = + - or @ from being run as spreadsheet formulas.

Is my data uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, so your data never leaves your device.
