How do I make a WhatsApp link?
Choose your country, type your WhatsApp number and, if you like, a message people will send you. Your link (wa.me) is ready at once to copy, share or turn into a QR code.
What does a WhatsApp link do?
When someone taps it, WhatsApp opens a chat with you with your message already typed, without saving your number first. It works on phones and on WhatsApp for computers.
How should I type the phone number?
Type it as you normally would: spaces, dashes and the first 0 are fine. If you start with + or 00, the country is picked from the number. The tool shows the full international number so you can check it.
Can I make a link without a phone number?
Yes. Leave the number empty and write a message: the link lets anyone choose a contact and send them your message, which is handy for sharing.
How do I add a WhatsApp button to my website?
Open "Button for your website", change the text if you like, copy the code and paste it into your page or a Custom HTML block. The QR code can go on flyers, menus and business cards.
Is my number stored anywhere?
No. The link and QR code are made in your browser; your number and message are never sent to us.
