How do I scan a document to PDF with my phone?
Take a photo of each page, add as many pages as you need, then tap Create PDF.
What does “Clean black & white document” do?
It turns the pages into crisp black and white, removing shadows and grey paper, so the text is easier to read and the file is smaller.
Can I add photos I already took?
Yes. Use Add from files to pick photos from your gallery or computer.
Are my scans uploaded?
No. The PDF is made on your device, so your documents never leave it.
How do I get a good scan?
Lay the page flat in good light, hold the phone straight above it and fill the frame. Make sure your shadow doesn't fall on the page.
Can I make the text searchable?
The PDF contains photos of your pages. To copy the text, use Image to Text (OCR) on the photos.
