Frequently asked questions

How do I resize a photo for Instagram and other apps?

Choose your photo, tick the sizes you need (Instagram post, story, YouTube thumbnail, LinkedIn banner and more), then download each one or all of them at once as a ZIP.

How do I stop faces from being cut off?

Tap the most important part of your photo, like a face or a product, and every size keeps it in view. You can also drag inside any result to fine-tune that one crop.

What are the right sizes for each platform?

Instagram posts are 1080 × 1080 (square), 1080 × 1350 (portrait) or 1080 × 566 (landscape), stories and reels 1080 × 1920, YouTube thumbnails 1280 × 720, X posts 1600 × 900 and LinkedIn posts 1200 × 627. All of them are built in.

Can I keep the whole photo without cropping?

Yes. Choose "Show the whole photo": it fits inside each size on a blurred copy of itself or a colour you pick, so nothing is cut off.

What do the safe areas mean?

Apps put buttons and captions over parts of stories, YouTube only shows the middle of a channel banner on phones, and profile pictures are cut into a circle. The guides show where to keep faces and text so they stay visible.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Your photo is resized in your browser and never leaves your device. It works with JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC (iPhone) and more.
